About

AI & Computer Vision researcher. PhD from IIIT Allahabad. Currently at Nasiko.

Summary

I'm an AI and Computer Vision researcher with a PhD from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. My work spans deep learning vision platforms — from thermal image colorization and 3D point cloud registration to agentic AI orchestration. I'm particularly focused on enhancing performance and efficiency in vision-driven and multi-agent systems, and I've published in venues including ICLR (A*) and Information Fusion.

Trajectory

I started research at the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) as a Junior Research Fellow in 2014, working with statisticians and psychologists at DIPR on evaluation platforms. After an M.Tech in Computer Science from IEM Kolkata, I returned to DRDO as a Senior Research Fellow, delivering illumination normalization and thermal image colorization modules under grant 2535/DIPR-II/MD/CARS-01, and publishing across SCI journals and international conferences.

At Trimble, I moved into industrial computer vision — multi-spectral odometry, 3D point cloud registration, and XR-based digital twin registration (winning the global 2022 Trimble Hackathon out of 250 teams). At Ola Electric, I led vision and ML work for the Kruti pipeline and the Ola Future Factory automation stack — micron-level 3D deviation detection, 6DOF pick-and-place for dark warehouses, and battery-line quality inspection.

I currently work as a Research Scientist at Nasiko, focused on agentic AI research and development — routing frameworks for orchestration, observability and explainability layers for A2A compliance, and cost-bound token strategies for agent usage.
